Recently my hubby and I were joking and laughing about his reaction to a couple of gifts I had made for him. It was his milestone birthday, and I wanted to make it special. I wanted to do something special just for him, and well his reception and reaction turned out much better than I could have imagined. And now I would like to share them with you. Some DIY Birthday Gifts For Men That Touches The Heart.
Thank goodness for Google and Pinterest! I was able to find some lovely ideas to combine with my own, resulting in what turned out to be a wonderful present.
My husband was so surprised. It was absolutely a rewarding response to see! I myself had no clue he would have liked it that much. But I am glad that he did.
Most of the items can be found at your local dollar store. I have included some links to some of the products on Amazon though. (See my affiliate disclosure below. )

For the poster…
Pinterest is a great resource for finding catchy phrases that would work great with the Candy postcard. You can even find funny things to say if you want to. This link will take you to all the wonderful candy posters Pinterest has to offer for ideas!
The plaque…
For this one, I lucked out that my husband is a Microsoft fan and Microsoft happens to be founded in his birth year. So that warmed his heart. Try finding some cool things that occurred the same year as your loved one. I used Microsoft word to do mine and it worked out great! If you have a wonderful fancy handwriting, that would be even more personal and touching❤️!
The Album…
I used a simple album. Also, I did not fill the entire album. That being said, I wanted to show a snapshot from his childhood to where he was at such a pivotal point in his life. Come to think of it, this would make a great Father’s day gift also! I was able to get hold of some of his baby pictures and early childhood pictures. I started with a baby picture of his. Then a few of him through out the years prior to kiddos. Ones that I had come to know held sentimental value to him. And to wrap it up some of our family pictures (the family he is now the proud head of) , ending with the latest family picture I KNEW he loved.
What do you think? Do you think these would make your special guy feel truly though of? Gifts of any kind are great. But there is just something to be said of a gift that has more of a personal meaning. In my humble opinion.
And there you have it! The idea behind this post is to inspire you to create something beautiful for your loved one. Hopefully I was able to accomplish that.
