Drink 8 Glasses Of Water The Simple Way
We all know the recommended intake of water we should be getting daily. But how many of us actually drink enough water. As a mom, I am always trying to make sure my kids drink a lot of water. Thing is, I wasn’t necessarily doing what I preached.
With this simple method, I was able to move from barely drinking enough water daily, to getting in at least eight cups per day.
- Place a covered cup or bottle on your nightstand to have first thing in the morning. This way when you’ve just dragged yourself out of bed, you don’t have to go to the kitchen.
- Have a cup with your breakfast.
- When you’re having your 10.00 o’clock apple (or your preferred snack), have another cup of water.
- Drink 2 cups with your lunch. At first 2 cups may seem like a lot, but it is really not that much water. A can of coke has 12 ounces, 2 cups are only 4 ounces more.
- Drink another cup during those mid-afternoon blues. Make it icy cold if you can. It will help wake you up a bit.
- Have another cup with your dinner.
- Enjoy that last cup before going to bed.
