About Me
Hi! My name is Nicole. I am a wife and stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. I have three beautiful young girls. My husband is a hardworking, God-fearing man. I am a Christian, and I love scrabble, sudoku and coffee! And this is a little About Me.
I am a Trinidadian, married to a Kansan and we live in California.
Before migrating to the United States, I lived 26 (almost 27) years in my home country of Trinidad and Tobago. I loved my home and my country, but sometimes you can’t control where love finds you.
In the past six years, life has been crazy. Dealing with it all in California added a dimension that rendered both my husband and me ill-prepared. When you add trying to survive on one income, in a state like this, with all the issues we were trying to iron out- it laid the perfect grounds for one to go mad! It is by God’s grace that we are a whole family unit, trying to press on with learned strength and commitment. And all thanks goes to God for doing it!
I decided to start blogging to try something different. Not only have I discovered that I LOVE it (who knew!), but I am also learning so much along this journey.
My blog is a personal blog. I share what I’ve learned so that it may benefit someone else. One thing I’ve learned in my life so far: never underestimate your life experiences. If there are things I don’t know, then the same is true for us all. And you may have jewels of skills under your belt that can bless someone else’s life.
Hope you enjoyed stopping by! I would love for you to join me on this journey. You can sign up (–>> see sidebar or end of the screen for sign-up forms!) to get my latest posts straight to your email.
