Enjoying Lake Merritt At It’s Best
Lake Merritt looked travel guide worthy on our last visit. It was a beautiful day. A day for Enjoying Lake Merritt At It’s Best. We are blessed to have access to this beautiful view just minutes away from us. Yet we don’t visit it quite enough. But, I suspect that is common, that those who live near to a desired destination are the ones that enjoy it the least.
I would love to say I just totally relaxed and allowed the wind to surge through my tightly coiled curls. However, I would be lying. I have toddlers, so a few stop, don’t go running into to the street to get knocked down warnings were still in order. When you’re a parent, unless you have someone to watch the kids for you, you take whatever level of peace and enjoyment you can get. And that greatly depends on how the little ones are feeling that day!
