Hi guys, today I want to share with you a delicious and super easy Slow Cooker Cream Of Mushroom And Chicken Soup.
Who doesn’t want a quick easy and super tasty meal right! I know I do. Well this delicious soup is exactly that. Not a lot of ingredients or effort as a matter of fact needed to reproduce this tasty soup. My hubby and I especially enjoyed this soup. It was all gone by the end of next day!
And the best part is it took me under 10 minutes from start to finish, and I was still able to give my toddler a snack in-between! My new kind of fast food!
Well, I hope you try it, and if you do, please drop me a comment below. We could probably swap ideas, or you could confirm how delicious and tasty this was! (Just kidding!)
Slow Cooker Cream Of Mushroom And Chicken Soup
Needed:
A slow cooker. Mine is the Hamilton Beach 33182A Slow Cooker, 8-Quart. I have had it for about three years so far, and it has not disappointed me yet. We have enjoyed some delicious meals from this cooker.
Ingredients:
- 3 large frozen chicken breasts
- A bell pepper
- 2 cups of baby carrots (or chopped regular if preferred)
- 26 oz can of cream of mushroom soup
- 2 large russet potatoes cut into slices
- a large onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Coarse black pepper
- 2 chicken bullion
Steps:
- Cut vegetables. I went with chunky since the idea is quick and easy. Of course, you could add a few minutes for smaller cuts.
- Layer slow cooker with bell pepper, baby carrots, and onion
- Then layer the sliced potatoes over the vegetables
- Lay the frozen chicken breast on top the potatoes
- Empty the cream of mushroom soup over the frozen chicken breasts
- Using the empty can of mushroom soup, fill twice and add to the slow cooker (Note: I like my soup with liquid, if you prefer a creamier soup, just add one can of water and add half the amount of salt and pepper)
- Add salt, pepper, and bullion
- Cook 6 hours on high, then turn on low for an additional 3 hours
- At about 6 hours or just before serving, use the serving spoon to divide the chicken into smaller pieces easily.
- ENJOY!!
