My 17-month-old really enjoys her VTech Alphabet Apple, and it is a great educational toy for younger kids!

One-year old playing with the Apple in her crib. I had to sneak up on her.:-)
These are some of the things I like about The Alphabet apple.
- It is engaging- The sing-along and bright lights work well with young kids.
- She can play with it on her own. Mostly, she knows the on and off buttons to do some self-entertainment. Yay!
- Educational- It sings a lot of nursery rhymes that kids love and much more! There are a lot of detailed videos on YouTube:)
- It has great reviews- There is something to be said for strength in numbers. It gets 4.5 stars on amazon
!
- I can get my 5, 3- and 1-year-old to play with it together. They both play with her because they enjoy seeing her reactions.
- It can entertain a bit of an age range, adding possible longevity once taken.
- It is priced very well! At under $20 bucks, this is a nice buy.

Big sisters show their little sister how to use it. 🙂
Final Thoughts…..
Nothing is perfect, so one thing I will mention. The brown paint on the apple stem comes off over some time because of usage. For such a good price, though, I believe it is still worth it. The learning capabilities of the Alphabet Apple and the price make this a great toy for young kids. And it’s fun!
I love educational toys because they entertain and educate my children. With the holiday season returning soon, this is a great option to consider as a gift.
